Who is Green Jack Rippa? It doesn’t say on the label. And what is he doing? Kung-fu Cossack dancing?
The beer claims to be an English Triple, but that’s not even a thing.
Perhaps he is related to Jack In The Green, a loud, drunk, 9 foot tall medieval man/bush who paraded around on May Day until the late 19th century when the Victorians made fun illegal and replaced him with Jack the Ripper, a murderer of prostitutes.
That sounds about right.
The beer is sweet and hoppy, like Thumper from Bambi.
"If you can't say something nice," said Thumper, "Don't say nothing at all."
